it’s dense and heavy
but yet in the moment it fosters stillness
Its mysterious nature creates a space for pause …
An opportunity to be in the present
For what is on the other side?
Perhaps we already have the knowing,
but that does not cease our sense of imaginative wonder.
Our lives so very similar …
WHAT IS ON THE OTHER SIDE?
even the other side of our constant thought and fears …
those often murky and ponderous thoughts
the same ones that cause us to feel “stuck in a fog”
How to lift that fog?
Allow the fog, connect to gratitude in all that haze, gaze deeply and become one with its mist, realize its impermanence, for soon enough the sun will blaze again.
The fog is only but a moment in time
And time is but man made
Upon deeply comprehending the fog
[and what hidden treasures its density may temporarily be concealing]
may we know peace. – Leslie Storms
